A former executive of TS Entertainment has secured funding from investors in The Philippines to start fresh as management label MBK Company.
The new label is home to singer/model Kim Kyu Gyeol as well as key figures from TS Entertainment, which created K-Pop groups such as B.A.P and SECRET.
With its new name, MBK Company aims to discover global new talent for its next K-Pop idol group.
The company should not be confused with another existing management label, PocketDol Studio (formerly MBK Entertainment), run by record producer Kim Kwang Soo and home to K-Pop acts such as CLASS:y, BAE173, and Fantasy Boys.
