Earlier this week on October 23 KST, the Korean Management Federation (KMF) issued a joint statement with ATTRAKT, condemning the re-debut of former FIFTY FIFTY members Saena, Aran, and Sio.
The KMF stated, "We the Korean Management Federation recognize the gravity of the tempering issue from last year, during which our member ATTRAKT suffered significant damages, and hereby express the following concerns. Tempering is a severe violation of the law which damages the existing order on fair contracts and destroys relationships based on trust within the entertainment industry. Therefore, it is regrettable that the three former members of FIFTY FIFTY, who partook in tempering attempts, are now making moves to resume their entertainment activities after signing with a new agency, when they have failed to assume full responsibility for their past wrongdoings."
The federation continued, "The fact that the very artists who participated in illegal tempering are choosing to ignore their existing contractual obligations and are attempting to resume activities through a new contract is itself unethical. This is an issue that threatens the reliability of the entertainment industry. If such actions are condoned, it will not be long before existing contracts lose their binding power, and many follow suit by ignoring their contractual obligations in search of individual gains."
Finally, the KMF emphasized that legal measures will be taken to prevent further occurrences of tempering in the entertainment industry and ensure that all artists fulfill their contractual obligations.
Meanwhile, former FIFTY FIFTY members Saena, Aran, and Sio are currently preparing to re-debut in a group called ABLOOM under MASSIVE E&C.
