JTBC's new Sat-Sun drama 'Tale of Lady Ok' has confirmed its premiere date for November 30 at 10:30 PM KST.
Set in the Joseon period, 'Tale of Lady Ok' tells the story of a slave who lives a false life as a Joseon-era lawyer from an aristocrat family, and a servant who dedicates his life to protecting the person he serves.
Lim Ji Yeon will take on the title role as Lady Ok Tae Young, a runaway slave with a remarkable brain. She finds a new life for herself as the daughter of the Ok family and must protect her secret. Opposite Lim Ji Yeon, Choo Young Woo takes on the role of Chun Seung Hwi, a servant who dedicates his life to protecting his master.
Next, Yeonwoo joins the cast as Cha Mi Ryung, Ok Tae Young's apprentice, while Kim Jae Won plays the role of Sung Do Gyeom, Ok Tae Young's brother-in-law. Veteran actors Sung Dong Il and Kim Mi Sook round out the cast as Ok Tae Young's father-in-law (Sung Dong Il) and the grandmother of the Ok family (Kim Mi Sook).
