NOWADAYS has been appointed as ambassadors for phishing prevention.
On October 4th, NOWADAYS attended a ceremony at the Gwangju Police Agency, where they were officially named phishing prevention ambassadors and took part in an awards ceremony for a related contest.
This marks the group’s first time serving as official ambassadors since their debut. Moving forward, they will contribute to raising awareness about the seriousness of phishing crimes and how to prevent them.
NOWADAYS shared their excitement, stating, "We are truly grateful to be given such a meaningful mission. It’s an honor."
The group also participated in a campaign video promoting the prevention of voice phishing, where they introduced cases of potential scams to watch out for.
They further conveyed an important message: "It's not that you've avoided being scammed by voice phishing; it's just that your turn hasn’t come yet."
NOWADAYS, a fresh rookie group, debuted in April and actively promoted their second single 'Nowhere' after its release in August.
