SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo Man and his longtime colleague, producer/director Yoo Young Jin, were once again spotted in China. This time, the two men were joined by an individual believed to be Lee Soo Man's niece and Girls' Generation member, Sunny.
Allegedly, the trio was seen walking not far behind two teens believed to be female idol trainees selected by Lee Soo Man. Previously in June of this year, Lee Soo Man and Yoo Young Jin were spotted in public with a group of male idol trainees, fueling rumors of Lee Soo Man's return to the idol industry.
However, it is currently known that Lee Soo Man's stock purchase agreement with HYBE Labels prevents him from promoting in the Korean entertainment industry for 3 years, or until 2026. It is unknown whether or not this applies to idol industries overseas.
Meanwhile, since her departure from SM Entertainment in August of 2023, shortly after Lee Soo Man's internal feud with the label concluded, Sunny has not signed with a management label for her activities in Korea and overseas.
