Min Hee Jin, the former CEO of ADOR, the agency behind NewJeans, has been reappointed as an internal director.
On October 17, ADOR stated to Newsen, "Today, ADOR held an extraordinary shareholders' meeting and reappointed Min Hee Jin as an internal director."
Earlier, on April 25, ADOR's parent company, HYBE, filed charges against Min Hee Jin for alleged embezzlement and breach of duty. On August 27, Kim Joo Young, HYBE's former Chief Human Resources Officer, was appointed as the new CEO of ADOR, effectively removing Min Hee Jin from her management position after 2 years and 9 months.
Min Hee Jin’s previous term as an internal director was set to expire on November 1. With the approval of her reappointment, she will now continue in the role for three more years, starting on November 2.
