Over the years, K-pop idols who have displayed their songwriting and composition skills have been added to the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) as full-fledged members.

This year, four K-pop idols including BTS's Jungkook and Seventeen's Vernon have been promoted to full members of the KOMCA. 

Earlier this year, the KOMCA announced through its official website that a total of 30 individuals including BTS's Jungkook, Seventeen's Vernon, (G)I-DLE's Soyeon, former HISTORY member Jang Yi Jeong (EL CAPITXN) have been included as full members for 2024.

The list of K-pop idols who have joined the KOMCA has gained renewed attention in a popular online community.
