On October 29, the Seoul Central District Court dismissed Min Hee Jin's request to be reinstated as CEO of ADOR.
The court's decision follows an October 11 hearing on an injunction Min filed on September 13, seeking a court mandate for ADOR’s board to vote in favor of her reinstatement.
Min Hee Jin initially filed the injunction after ADOR's board removed her as CEO in August, appointing Kim Joo Young, HYBE's head of HR, as her successor.
In her case for reinstatement, Min Hee Jin argued that her removal violated her shareholder agreement with HYBE and contradicted a prior court ruling from May 30, which restricted the board's voting rights to remove her as CEO.
To address Min Hee Jin’s concerns, ADOR’s board voted on October 17 to extend her term as main producer, initially set to expire on November 1, to reach a compromise.
Korean netizens responded:
"It's true that Min Hee Jin wanted to remain at HYBE. Now it's time for her to escape."
"She needs to escape HYBE with NewJeans."
"Min Hee Jin and NewJeans both need to safely leave HYBE."
"I wish NewJeans and Min Hee Jin a safe escape from HYBE."

"I think it's better that she's not reinstated as CEO. She can just sue them."
