On the September 20 episode of KBS2's 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant,' Jaejoong found himself at the center of his family's matchmaking plans.
During a dinner with his sisters, Jaejoong shared how his parents have been pressuring him to get married. He said his mom, in particular, has been expressing concern about Jaejoong's age, saying, “You're turning 40 next year. You need to get married soon!” While Jaejoong has suggested that he might tie the knot sometime in his 40s or even at 49, his parents aren't convinced.
The conversation quickly escalated, with Jaejoong's sisters divided on the issue. While some of the sisters supported Jaejoong's idea of settling down, others expressed concerns about the challenges his future wife might face joining such a large family. Jaejoong has eight older sisters, which is a recurring joke on the show.
To lighten the mood, Jaejoong jokingly recorded a video message to his future wife. He assured her that while his family is large and loud, he would make sure she has plenty of personal space. "I don't know when or if you'll ever appear, but please don't feel too pressured or burdened," he said. "It might be noisy, but it's more fun than being lonely. And I'll make sure you have plenty of time for yourself. Don't worry, I'll balance everything out. I hope you'll appear someday."
