Actors Ahn Jae Hong and Park Bo Young have been selected as the hosts for the opening ceremony of the 29th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
The BIFF Organizing Committee announced on the 6th that Ahn Jae Hong and Park Bo Young will lead the opening ceremony on October 2 at 7 PM at the outdoor theater of the Busan Cinema Center.
Ahn Jae Hong made his acting debut in the short film 'Kukyong' in 2009 and gained recognition through the 2014 film 'The King of Jokgu.' He has since starred in popular dramas like 'Reply 1988,' 'Fight for My Way,' and 'Be Melodramatic.' He has received awards, such as Best Supporting Actor at the 2024 Blue Dragon Series Awards and the 2024 Baeksang Arts Awards for his role in 'Mask Girl.'
Park Bo Young, who debuted in the 2006 drama 'Secret Campus,' rose to fame after leading the hit film 'Scandal Makers' in 2008. She gained further popularity through films like 'A Werewolf Boy' and TV dramas such as 'Oh My Ghost' and 'Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.'
