TVING original series 'Dear X', directed by hitmaker Lee Eung Bok of 'Sweet Home' and 'Mister Sunshine', has confirmed its lead cast.
Based off of a popular Naver webtoon of the same name, 'Dear X' tells the story of a top actress with a dark past and her tragic downfall. Actress Kim Yoo Jung will take on the leading female role as Baek Ah Jin, a two-faced woman who can read and control the hearts of anyone who looks into her eyes.
Opposite Kim Yoo Jung, actor Kim Young Dae has been cast as Yoon Joon Seo, a man who is willing to put everything on the line to protect the woman he loves, Baek Ah Jin. Alongside Kim Young Dae, actor Kim Do Hoon takes on the role of Kim Jae Oh, a figure who controls Baek Ah Jin from the shadows. Finally, Lee Yeol Eum completes the lead cast as Rena, an idol-turned-actress who suffers from her unrequited love for Yoon Joon Seo.
Co-directed by Park So Hyun and scripted by Choi Ja Won, 'Dear X' is slated to air some time in 2025.
