IVE is set to take part in a large festival in the United States.
According to their agency Starship Entertainment, IVE will be performing on stage at Lollapalooza Chicago, which will be held at Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois on April 3 (local time). Fans in the U.S. will be able to watch the live stream through the platform Hulu, and fans outside the U.S. will be able to watch the live stream through IVE's official YouTube channel.
As this will be IVE's first appearance at a major festival since their debut, they will be presenting a new stage with a band sound that is different from their traditional music broadcast stage. The set list is expected to resonate with fans and the audience alike, with IVE's set list providing a welcome respite from the summer heat.
Lollapalooza is a large-scale music festival that began in Chicago in 1991 and has been held in various parts of the world, including the United States, France, Chile, and Brazil. The festival encompasses popular genres of pop, rock, and other popular music, averaging more than 170 artists each year and drawing a total of 400,000 people to the four-day festival. Previous performers include Paul McCartney, Metallica, and Coldplay. This year's K-pop acts will include IVE and Stray Kids.
Despite not having a separate promotion or official debut in the U.S., IVE already toured six cities in the U.S. in March, starting with a performance at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles followed by Oakland Arena in Oakland, Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Allstate Arena in Rosemont, and finally Prudential Center in Newark. The sold-out shows in Los Angeles, Oakland, and Newark continued the local IVE phenomenon.
