GOT7 Member and Actor Youngjae to return to drama after 3 years with 'Friendly Rivalry'
Youngjae, a member of GOT7 and an actor, will return to the drama scene after three years with 'Friendly Rivalry' his agency Andbut Company announced on July 24 KST.
Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, 'Friendly Rivalry' is a high-teen mystery thriller that depicts the tense relationships of teenage girls amidst a fierce survival competition more brutal than college entrance exams. The story unfolds at Chae Hwa Girls' High School, where 1% of the top students in Korea gather, and centers around Seulgi Woo, a girl from a provincial orphanage who transfers to the school and does not fit in.
Youngjae, who last appeared in the dramas 'So Not Worth It' and 'Love and Wish' in 2021, will make his drama comeback after three years. He will perform alongside Lee Hyeri, Kang Hyewon, Jung Subin, and Oh Uri, showcasing his captivating and immersive acting skills.
Moreover, this drama promises a radical transformation from the images Youngjae has shown in previous dramas and musicals, hinting at a potential new iconic character in his career.
