Karina from the group aespa shared a handwritten letter from her parents.
On July 29 KST, the YouTube channel 'W KOREA' released a video titled "We've Been Waiting for aespa Karina's In My Bag. We Will Properly Serve You." In the video, aespa's Karina introduced her treasured items, which she packed into her bag.
On the video, Karina brought various items such as swimsuits, a cat pouch, a notebook, and a photo album, including a large letter storage box. She proudly said, "This has been at home since I was in kindergarten, but I brought it to the dorm. It's a letter box where I keep letters from friends, family, and aespa members."
Karina first revealed birthday letters from her mom, dad, and older sister. The letters expressed the family's concern for their daughter's health amidst her busy schedule.
Next, Karina shared another cherished letter, saying, "There's a letter I really want to brag about. It's a concert letter my mother wrote to me after yesterday's concert," and she read the letter aloud.
In the heartfelt letter, her mother wrote, "Physically, we can't spend time together, but our hearts are always with you. Even when we're with other family members, you're always part of our conversations. Remember that you are the most precious and valuable person, and enjoy yourself well." As she read, Karina became emotional.
