Photos of SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo Man in China have surfaced online, further fueling rumors that the producer will soon return to the idol industry.
Allegedly, Lee Soo Man was recently spotted in China alongside his longtime colleague, producer Yoo Young Jin, as well as a group of young male teens. Many suspected that the young male teens were new idol trainees hand-selected by Lee Soo Man.
Previously in May, it was reported that Lee Soo Man had filed for a trademark for a business known as A20 Entertainment. However, Lee Soo Man's stock purchase agreement with HYBE Labels prevents him from promoting in the Korean entertainment industry as a potential rival against HYBE Labels for 3 years, or until 2026. It is unknown whether or not this applies to idol industries overseas.
