On June 26 KST, singer Kim Jaejoong appeared on MBC FM4U's 'Kim Shin Young's Song of Hope at Noon,' where he discussed his new 20th-anniversary album, 'Flower Garden,' which is set to be released at 6 PM.
During the show, DJ Kim Shin Young expressed surprise at being the first to promote the album before its release, to which Jaejoong humbly replied, "I heard that 'Song of Hope' is a must-stop for album promotions in the entertainment world."
Kim Shin Young praised Jaejoong's vocals and the effort put into the album, calling it a gift for fans who have waited 20 years. Jaejoong reflected on the significance of the album, saying, "Each flower represents the fans who have supported me, creating this 'Flower Garden.' I've put in a lot of effort, money, and time into this album—it's my rebirth."
When discussing the album's title track, "Glorious Day," Jaejoong shared that the song initially sounded like religious song but eventually resonated with him as a message to his fans. He emphasized that every glorious day was made possible by his fans.
Kim Shin Young then highlighted Jaejoong's perfectionism, revealing that he found a typo in the album lyrics and decided to scrap 80,000 pre-printed copies. Jaejoong explained, "Most entertainment companies would just use a sticker to fix it, but for my 20th anniversary, this album is a gift to my fans. I couldn't hand it to them with that mistake."
The conversation concluded with humor as Kim Shin Young joked about singing the song with the typo and Jaejoong laughed, saying, "I didn't think of that."
