Singer Kang Daniel, who recently filed a criminal complaint against a major shareholder of his agency for forgery and embezzlement, has shared his feelings.

On the 9th, Kang Daniel posted on Instagram, saying, "The journey with KONNECT, which has been my fence and also taught me responsibility for the past five years, has come to an end. I want to express my sincere gratitude to all the executives, employees, and related parties who have led KONNECT, crying and laughing together. I will not forget this feeling."

He continued, "Although it is unfortunate and saddening to end the journey with such bad news, I will continue to work hard and move forward as I always have. I will use this time to think deeply for a better future."

Kang Daniel addressed his fans, saying, "To our Danity (official fandom name), who are thinking of me more than anyone else right now! I will continue to be by your side as Kang Daniel. I will work hard to bring you good news soon, so don't worry too much and make sure to eat well! Thank you."

Last month, Kang Daniel announced through his legal representative that he had filed a complaint against Mr. A, the major shareholder of KONNECT Entertainment, where he served as CEO, on charges of forgery of private documents, embezzlement, breach of trust, information network intrusion, and computer fraud.

According to Kang Daniel's side, Mr. A used the CEO's name without Kang Daniel's knowledge to sign an advance distribution contract worth around 10 billion KRW, withdrew at least 2 billion KRW from the agency's account without any legal procedure, used an anonymous corporate card for expenditures exceeding tens of millions of KRW, falsely recorded them in the accounting books, and secretly withdrew more than 1.7 billion KRW from a bank account in Kang Daniel's name.

Kang Daniel's side explained, "To minimize the damage to the affiliated artists, employees, and third-party contract partners who have trusted and followed us like family, we made strenuous efforts for over a year before proceeding with the criminal complaint. However, we concluded that there was no other way to resolve the issue except to pursue legal accountability, and we filed the criminal complaint with a heavy heart."
