ONE PACT's label explained Jay Chang's absence from the group's upcoming 'PARADOXX' promotions.
On May 16, the group's label ARMADA ENT released a statement on Jay Chang's participation in ONE PACT's comeback slated for June. According to ARMADA ENT, Jay Chang will be engaged in activities under a different agency as part of winning a spot on the project group formed from Mnet's vocal boy group survival competition 'Build Up'.
As he'll be promoting with the new 'Build Up' project group B.D.U, Jay won't be able to take part in ONE PACT's upcoming album 'PARADOXX'.

First of all, we sincerely thank all the fans who have shown anticipation and support for the comeback of ONE PACT.
Regarding this comeback, we would like to address the curiosity and concerns of many fans regarding the participation of member Jay.
Recently, Jay achieved first place in the Build Up program, gaining a new challenge and opportunity. As a result, Jay will be engaged in activities with another agency as part of the benefits of winning the Build Up program, and therefore, he will not be able to participate in this ONE PACT album.
Jay's new challenges and activities will be significant experiences for him and will greatly contribute to his future growth. ARMADA ENT and the members of ONE PACT respect and support Jay's decision. We also extend deep gratitude to the fans who support Jay's choice.
Jay is a valuable member of ONE PACT. Whenever the time and circumstances align, Jay will be active with ONE PACT again. We ask fans to remember this point and look forward to the day when Jay will return to the stage with ONE PACT.
