Singer Lizzy, a member of the group After School, is garnering attention with her revamped image.
On May 15, Lizzy shared a video on her Instagram along with the message, "Since it's Teacher's Day, I reached out to my own teachers. Have you done the same? Remember to show your appreciation. And don't forget to enjoy a good meal."
The video features Lizzy with a bright smile, effortlessly captivating attention with her mature appearance and pure charm.
In May 2021, Lizzy was involved in a car accident while under the influence of alcohol near the southern end of Yeongdong Bridge in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Her blood alcohol level was reported to be 0.08%, leading to the cancellation of her driver's license. Following a trial in October of the same year, Lizzy was fined 15 million KRW (~11,070.44 USD). Additionally, she opted not to renew her contract with her former agency, Celltrion Entertainment.
In the aftermath of the accident, Lizzy tearfully expressed her frustration on Instagram Live, stating, "The driver didn't suffer much, but it was blown out of proportion. It feels like everyone's advocating for someone's demise. I feel like my life is over."
After taking time off to reflect and make amends, Lizzy recently announced her comeback by signing with a new agency.
BK ENT expressed their excitement, saying, "We're thrilled to collaborate with Lizzy, who exudes immense talent and positive energy. We'll provide her with full support to engage in various endeavors."
