Actor Song Kang has shared his feelings with fans a day before his military enlistment.
On April 1st, Song Kang posted a handwritten letter on his official fan cafe, stating, "As you all might have seen in the news, I am finally going."
He expressed his gratitude, saying, "To my Songpyeon (fandom) who have loved me since my debut in 2017 and thereafter! I always feel like I exist because of all of you. I always write a gratitude diary before going to bed, and there are so many things I am thankful for about our Songpyeon."
Song Kang shared, "Thank you so much for filling my 20s with meaningful and significant times, such as birthdays, anniversaries, fan meetings, etc."
He continued, "I won't be by your side for a while, but time will quickly pass, and I hope to see you again with a thankful and healthy heart. If that time comes, let's meet with even happier faces. There are many things I want to do while in the military, and one of them is learning a new language. I plan not to waste that year and a half. I hope our Songpyeon will also spend a lot of meaningful time doing what you want and finding yourselves during that period."
He concluded, "The meaning of Songpyeon is 'Song: Kang,' 'Pyeon: Fan,' a meaningful name. Thinking of each other, I will return safely and happily. I love you, Songpyeon! Always."
Song Kang is known to enlist in the army on April 2nd. The Netflix series 'Sweet Home Season 3,' in which he stars, is expected to be released in the second quarter of this year.
