One of the most beloved K-mystery/crime dramas of all time, 'Signal' is returning with season 2, scriptwriter Kim Eun Hee confirmed on March 13.
The hit drama scriptwriter, who worked on SBS's 'Revenant' last year with production company BA Entertainment, has partnered up with the production company once again for 'Signal 2', although there is currently no specific timeline for the second season's release.
In the past, scriptwriter Kim has shown interest in "telling the stories that were left untold in 'Signal'" through a second season.
Meanwhile, 'Signal' originally aired on tvN in 2016. It told the story of detectives who begin hearing mysterious messages from a wireless communication receiver, and with the information received, they begin cracking unsolved crimes. The first season starred Jo Jin Woong, Kim Hye Soo, Lee Jae Hoon, and more.

Yassss!!! Bruh I wrote a whole a post on this show years ago on Tumblr that I still get notes on cause I just felt like I would not get a season 2 of the drama EVER. AGAIN. This drama gave me suspense, thriller, a amazing music soundtrack and characters that kept me engaged. I loved it so much and the open ending it left me with kept my heart hopeful. Now 8 years later it's Finally confirmed! Now all we need is confirmation that main three actors will be back!
