EXO's Xiumin has been selected as the main MC of the upcoming KBS2 boy group survival program, 'Make Mate 1 (MA1)'.
This will mark Xiumin's first role as the solo host of a variety program since his debut. The 3rd generation idol will also play an important role as a mentor for the 36 contestants of 'Make Mate 1'.
Meanwhile, 'Make Mate 1' is a global boy group survival program featuring 36 trainees not affiliated with any outside entertainment agencies. All of the contestants began receiving training through KBS since last year. The program is scheduled to premiere some time in May.
In other news, Xiumin recently signed on as an artist at INB100, established by his group mate Baekhyun.
