The police have dropped the embezzlement case against ATTRAKT CEO Jun Hong Joon brought by the former three members of FIFTY FIFTY.
ATTRAKT announced, "We recently received a notification stating that the investigation into CEO Jun Hong Joon's embezzlement case has concluded in a decision not to prosecute (no suspicion)."
The agency continued, "We are committed to holding accountable those who manipulated and misled members, who lacked a full understanding of corporate accounting principles, into filing charges. We will ensure that those responsible for these deceptive actions face appropriate consequences."
Earlier in August 2023, former FIFTY FIFTY members Saena, Sio, and Aran filed a complaint against CEO Jun Hong Joon at the Seoul Gangnam Police Station for embezzlement.
The former members claimed that the advance payment debts of the planning agency Star Crew Entertainment, which is effectively owned by the former CEO, were improperly used to repay the group's music and album profits. The police concluded that there was no evidence of a crime and dropped the case.
I still can't believe these girls utterly ruined their chances at success. I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve. Every update in this long story just leaves me in utter disbelief.
