In 2021, the South Korean drama series "Squid Game" became a massive global hit, captivating audiences worldwide. Building on its success, a ten-episode British reality competition series was released in November 2023, inspired by the original.

Dubbed "Squid Game: The Challenge," the show featured real-life contestants competing in a series of high-stakes children's games for a $4.56 million cash prize.

One of the contestants on "Squid Game: The Challenge," an influencer who goes by the name "Flawless Kevin," has recently confessed that he auditioned to be a player after seeing Taehyung cosplay as one of the Squid Game characters.

Kevin humorously revealed, "The real reason why I signed up for Squid Game. 🤭 My fellow cast mates may have been competing for $4.56 million dollars but I was competing for Taehyung’s heart. 😘"

During BTS's 2021 "Permission to Dance On Stage - Live Play" concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Taehyung sent the internet into a frenzy with his surprise appearance in a full-fledged "Squid Game" guard costume.

The iconic red tracksuit and black mask, coupled with Taehyung's playful energy and charming stage presence, proved irresistible to fans and non-fans alike.
