Police are investigating the murders of 2 female cafe owners.

According to the Ilsan Seobu Police Station on January 5, they're investigating 2 murders in the Gyeonggi Province that occurred in the past week. The victims are both elderly female owners of coffee shops, and it's reported there's one murder suspect who's alleged to be behind the 2 killings.

Early Friday, one 60-something cafe owner was found dead in an apparent murder, and a cafe employee stated the owner was alone with a male customer the previous night. Another 60-something cafe owner was found strangled to death on December 30 of last year, and she's also reported to have been working alone the previous night.

The police are now on the hunt for a 57-year-old man who's the primary suspect for both murders. The reward for information leading to the capture of the suspect is 5 million Won ($3,794.67 USD).
