Recently, Newjeans' Hanni appeared on the cover of Vogue Australia's January 2024 issue, alongside fellow group mate Danielle. In an interview with the magazine, Hanni shared insights into her love for music and her aspirations for producing her own songs.

In a recent Phoning live stream, Hanni discussed how she has studied and learned about producing and making beats, revealing plans to start self-producing in upcoming music projects. She mentioned, "I am remaking the beat from one of my favourite songs, which is in the UK garage genre, recently."

Note: UK garage is a popular genre from the late '90s and early '00s. Hanni revealed that she’s working on a UK garage beat and highlighted the group members involvement and spending a lot of time in making music in NewJeans' own home-built studio. The members of Newjeans, including Hanni, are gaining experience in music production and have previous experience in writing songs.

Hanni has also contributed to writing record-breaking songs such as 'Hype Boy' and 'OMG' from their previous mini albums, showcasing her multifaceted talent.
