Disney+ Korea has decided to bring to life another of webtoon artist Kang Full's masterpieces.

After the global success of the Disney+ original series 'Moving', based off of the same webtoon by Kang Full, the streaming platform has picked up another Kang Full project. As with 'Moving', the webtoon artist will personally take part in the script, while actor Kim Hee Won is set to make his producer debut.

The new series is based off of the mystery/horror webtoon 'Lighting Shop', a story which revolves around a mysterious shop. There, the dead may return to the world of the living, while the living may not walk out alive. 

The Disney+ adaptation has already secured a strong cast, with Joo Ji Hoon and Park Bo Young confirmed in leading roles, joined by Bae Sung Woo, Uhm Tae Goo, Kim Seolhyun, Lee Jung Eun, Kim Min Ha, Park Hyuk Kwon, Kim Dae Myung, Shin Eun Soo, Kim Sung Hwa, and Kim Ki Hae. 

'Lighting Shop' is expected for release some time in 2024. Do you see Disney+ landing another major hit with this new Kang Full series?
