Actress Shin Min Ah expressed her special affection for the film 'Our Season'

In an interview held at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, on the 4th, Shin Min Ah, who is meeting the audience after a long time through the movie 'Our Season (directed by Yuk Sang-hyo),' said,

"There was a time when it was difficult to have a theatrical release, so I was happy just to be released. It's been a while since we finished filming, so I feel happy, excited, and also looking forward to it."

Previously, Shin Min-a had described 'Three Days of Vacation' as a "work I really like." "It was very warm when we were filming," she began, "The atmosphere on set was good, the director made things comfortable, and Teacher Kim Hae-sook was beyond wonderful. We filmed in Jeongseon in the middle of winter, and it was very cold, but with the smell of food and nice people around, it left warm memories. So I was eager for it to be released quickly."

Shin Min Ah, who said she cried while watching the work at the preview, recalled, "The director asked me, 'Why are you crying over your own acting?' But I know the content and the emotions of the characters. So I think I started crying from the beginning."

When asked, "What drew you to a film that could easily become melodramatic?" she responded, "Many people say, 'Just watching the trailer makes me teary-eyed. I get emotional.' 

Ultimately, the film depicts the story of a mother and daughter, loved ones, and relationships. Someday we all will part ways, and thinking and reminiscing about that, I thought many people could relate to it."

Shin Min Ah added, "I haven't yet lost someone very close to me, but just the thought of it is sad. I thought it would be a story many people would empathize with and be curious about. 'Our Season' seemed interesting as it deals with a somewhat heavy subject in a fantasy-like way."

'Our Season' is a healing fantasy film about a mother, Bok-ja (Kim Hae-sook), who comes down from heaven for a vacation, and her daughter, Jin-ju (Shin Min Ah), who runs a rice soup restaurant with her mother’s recipes. The film is set to release on the 6th.
