K-pop group ITZY is set to release their new album 'BORN TO BE' on January 8, 2024, and will embark on their second world tour starting in Seoul on February 24 and 25.

JYP Entertainment revealed at midnight on the 4th through their official SNS channels the announcement video, scheduler image, and tracklist for ITZY's first comeback in 2024.

The announcement video, filled with exciting sounds, featured small sparks coming together to form a flame, then explosively revealing the album name 'BORN TO BE,' capturing attention.

ITZY, hinting at a fiery comeback with this powerful video, will release 'BORN TO BE' on January 8, 2024, at 6 PM, set to ignite the hearts of K-pop fans.

Aiming for a major promotion in the first half of 2024, the tracklist also excites fans both domestically and internationally. Notably, it includes the first-ever solo tracks by ITZY members since their debut, hinting at an extraordinary new release.

According to the scheduler, starting December 11, the group concept photo and clip for the first track 'BORN TO BE' will be released, followed by individual teasers for members Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna from December 12 to 15. 

The music video will be unveiled on the 18th. Subsequently, solo song music videos will be pre-released on December 20, 22, 25, and 27, with the concept photo, teaser, and full video of the track 'Mr. Vampire' to be presented on December 29 and January 2.On January 3, the concept photo for the title track 'UNTOUCHABLE' will be released, followed by the music video teasers on January 4 and 5. 

A countdown live will be held at 5 PM on the comeback day, January 8, to meet fans. 

The full album and title track music video will be available at 6 PM on the same day.The new title track 'UNTOUCHABLE' has lyrics written by Esran, who penned 'None of My Business' from 'KILL MY DOUBT' and 'POP!' by TWICE's Nayeon, and Bang Hye-hyun, who wrote 'Drama' and 'Spicy' for aespa. 

The album features renowned writers, including Maria Marcus, who has worked with Jungkook, Red Velvet, and TXT.

The album 'BORN TO BE' includes a total of 10 tracks such as 'BORN TO BE,' 'Mr. Vampire,' 'Dynamite,' 'Crown On My Head (Yeji),' 'Blossom (Lia),' 'Run Away (Ryujin),' 'Mine (Chaeryeong),' 'Yet, but (Yuna),' and 'Escalator,' with members participating in writing and composing their first solo songs, showcasing their musical capabilities.Along with the comeback news, ITZY also announced their second world tour, exciting fans worldwide.

ITZY will start the new world tour with a solo concert on February 24 and 25, 2024, at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul. 

Their first world tour, which started in Seoul in August 2022, achieved sold-out shows in 8 cities in the USA, the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Thailand. ITZY, who proved their status as 'K-pop's leading performers' with a parade of hit songs and fulfilling fan wishes with B-side track performances, is expected to continue their fame in the 2024 world tour.

Recently, ITZY has been raising expectations for their activities in 2024, proving their worldwide popularity by charting on Billboard's 2023 YEAR-END CHARTS with 'CHESHIRE' and 'KILL MY DOUBT' and receiving a Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America for their mega-hit song 'WANNABE.
