NewJeans' latest album, 'Get Up,' has caught the discerning ears of multiple media outlets, earning recognition as one of the noteworthy releases of the year. 

The album's unique blend of musical elements and lyrical craftsmanship has contributed to its standing among the most notable works in the current music landscape. What's most impressive about this feat is that NewJeans is one of the newest 4th generation girl groups that debuted just last year.

NewJeans' 'Get Up' ranked 33rd on Rolling Stone's top 100 albums of the year, with the track "Super Shy" ranking 6th as the best song of the year.

In addition, "Super Shy" achieved notable recognition by attaining the 7th position on Pitchfork's Top Songs of the Year list, the best-ever ranking for a K-pop song. Furthermore, the song secured the 2nd rank on NME's Song of the Year chart, another best-ever ranking for a K-pop song.

NewJeans is also gaining recognition in the UK. "Super Shy" was chosen to rank 3rd place in UK's The Guardian's Best Song of the Year and GQ UK's Best Song list as well. It's the first time a K-pop song entered 'The Guardian' and GQ UK's respective 'Best Song of the year' lists.

Furthermore, 'Get Up' by NewJeans stood out as the sole K-pop album selected for PASTE's Album of the Year, attaining a commendable 8th position in the rankings. The album also claimed the 15th spot on Gorillavsbear's Album of the Year selection. It's also the first time for a K-pop album to be selected in both PASTE and Gorillavsbear's respective 'Album of the Year' lists.

NewJeans not only excelled in South Korea but also achieved global recognition and acclaim.
