Former 'Heart Signal 3' contestant Seo Min Jae (now Seo Eun Woo), who stirred controversy with drug allegations, candidly shares her emotions on a broadcast.
Seo Min Jae was featured on the KBS 1TV current affairs program 'In Depth 60 Minutes,' airing at 10 PM KST on December 1.
In preparation for the show's 1346th episode, centered around 'Reasons I Couldn't Quit Drugs,' Seo Min Jae participated in an interview with the production team. This marks her first interview since acknowledging drug use during the trial.
During the interview, she openly admitted to the production team, stating, "(Because of drugs) I lost everything I had," and "I genuinely hope others steer clear of drugs. There's nothing but ruin at the end of that path."
Seo Min Jae, advocating for more treatment for female drug addicts, chose to appear on the broadcast while currently navigating the trial and rehabilitation process.
In the upcoming 'In-Depth 60 Minutes' episode featuring Seo Min Jae, the show delves into drug scandals involving top stars and other notable personalities.
Seo Min Jae initially gained recognition through her appearance on the 2020 Channel A variety show 'Heart Signal' Season 3, later transitioning into an influencer with a growing fan base.
However, in August of last year, she stunned everyone by posting on social media about her drug use with singer Nam Tae Hyun. It was revealed that they were once in a relationship and had taken drugs together during that period.
Seo Min Jae and her former partner, Nam Tae Hyun, were indicted without detention in connection with this incident and are currently undergoing court proceedings. In the first hearing held last October, both individuals admitted to the charges.
It is reported that Nam Tae Hyun is also undergoing treatment in a drug-related rehabilitation facility.
The second trial for both individuals is scheduled for the 7th of this month.
I wish them both a speedy recovery. It must be so difficult for both of them.
