In a recent development concerning the drug case involving actor Lee Sun Gyun (age 48), an additional suspect - a female employee of the entertainment establishment - has been forwarded to prosecution on charges related to methamphetamine use.
On December 6, the Incheon Police Narcotics Crime Investigation Unit disclosed that they sent a female entertainment establishment employee (age 26) to prosecution without detention. The female employee is facing charges of violating the drug control law and is being accused of using methamphetamine with the female entertainment establishment manager (age 29).
The police questioned the female employee on the 2nd of last month, and she reportedly admitted to the charges of methamphetamine use.
The Incheon Police have investigated a total of 10 individuals, including Lee Sun Gyun and G-Dragon. Only 7 individuals were formally charged. Among the seven, three, including the female employee, have been sent to prosecution.
Meanwhile, the police state that investigations into Lee Sun Gyun and G-Dragon, among others, are still ongoing.
Both Lee Sun Gyun and G-Dragon have received negative results in the preliminary and comprehensive drug tests.
A police official stated, "There is no decision made yet on whether to summon Lee Sun Gyun again," and added, "It has not been determined when the investigation into Kwon (G-Dragon) will conclude."
Are they going to test her hair, check if she dyed or bleached her hair recently, discuss her pubic hair in the media, place her under a travel ban, expose her publicly so people can scrutinize her facial expressions and body movements, are the media and public going to tear her apart and make her an object of ridicule. If not, why not? Why should her identity be protected?
