MBC's new drama, 'The Story of Park's Contract Marriage,' featuring actresses Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk, due to premiere this month, released new character posters for the lead actors.
This intriguing production delves into the stark contrast between the societal norms and expectations of the Joseon era in comparison to the 21st century. The drama will portray a unique and imaginative storyline-the eccentric yet rich contract marriage of Confucian girl Park Yeon Woo, played by Lee Se Young, and Kang Tae Ha, a seemingly emotionless third-generation chaebol, played by Bae In Hyuk, set against the backdrop of modern Korea in 2023.
In the poster, Lee Se Young is seen donning a vibrant red Hanbok, beautifully complimented by a wedding veil that further enhances the portrayal of her lively character Park Yeon Woo. Subtly peeping from behind her veil is the layer of a wedding dress in place of a traditional Hanbok.
In contrast, Bae In Hyuk is seen expressing a unique blend of traditional and modern charisma. He effortlessly portrays Kang Tae Ha's serious charm in a black tuxedo, teamed with a traditional wedding face covering, set against a calming blue backdrop.
The show will premiere on November 24 KST.
