STAYC is in Scotland to meet with the Scottish professional football club, Rangers F.C.
This turn of events follows a humorous yet cute mistake that occurred during the U.S. leg of their 'TEENFRESH' World Tour.
While performing in Dallas, Texas - home to the World Series-winning baseball team, Texas Rangers - STAYC decided to make a tribute by donning sports jerseys on stage. The jerseys, however, were not those of the local Texas Rangers, but were vintage 1990s jerseys from the Glasgow Rangers. The Glasgow Rangers, currently known as Rangers F.C., is a professional football club based in Scotland, quite a far cry from the Texas-based baseball team.
The girls’ unwitting mix-up, while endearing to many, made headlines both locally and internationally, even catching the attention of BBC News, which reported on the amusing blunder.
Rangers F.C., seemingly amused by the mishap, extended an open invitation to STAYC. The K-pop group will meet with Rangers FC on November 6 at 6 p.m. London time.
This time bring the Texas Rangers jerseys just to troll the Rangers F.C.
