Jung So Min is in talks to star in the upcoming drama 'Mom's Friend's Son'.

According to reports on November 30, Jung So Min's label IEUM HASHTAG confirmed, "'Mom's Friend's Son' is one of the projects that Jung So Min received an offer for. She's currently reviewing the offer."

'Mom's Friend's Son' is a new romantic-comedy drama following a woman named Bae Seok Ryu, who wants to restart her troubled life, and her mom's friend's son Choi Seung Hyo, who's the reason behind the dark chapter in her life. Director Yoo Je Won and writer Shin Ha Eun of 'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha' are taking on the series.

If cast, Jung So Min is taking on the role of Bae Seok Ryu. Jung Hae In is also in talks to play Choi Seung Hyo.

The production team of 'Mom's Friend's Son' plans to start filming in the first half of 2024, and the drama is also slated to premiere next year.
