BLACKPINK's JENNIE continues to show strong performance within the different music platforms around the world. Surpassing fellow solo artists including Namjoon, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, Taehyung, Jimin, Rosé, and Jisoo in monthly listeners, Jennie has now catapulted to an impressive 18.4 million monthly listeners. This achievement not only solidifies her status as the top Korean female soloist on the streaming service but also places her second among female soloists within BLACKPINK and third overall as a solo act. Her soaring popularity shows the global appeal of her music and her influential presence in the industry.
On the other hand, 'One Of The Girls,' her memorable collaboration with The Weeknd and Lily Rose released earlier this year, has notched its biggest streaming day on Spotify. It garnered 1,711,890 filtered streams, propelling it back up the platform's Top Songs Global list. This resurgence is notable, especially considering that several months have passed since its initial release, and it has received no targeted promotion for 'The Idol' series audience.
Previously, Jennie's 'One Of The Girls' achieved several milestones, including being her debut track as a K-pop soloist on Billboard's Hot Trending Songs chart and securing her the title of First Korean Female Soloist on the Billboard R&B Digital Song Sales chart. It also became the fastest song by a female K-Pop solo artist to reach 100 million Spotify streams, outpacing 'People Pt.2' by IU featuring Suga, and the Latin hit 'SG' by Lisa alongside DJ Snake, Ozuna, and Megan Thee Stallion.
Despite being eclipsed by her more recent solo success 'You & Me,' 'One Of The Girls' continues to maintain a strong presence on the charts.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK's JENNIE!
I'm a casual blackpink fan and don't hold anything against any of the girls, but I think the downvotes on this article are because in the last week or two allkpop has just been spamming the same kind of article over and over again for each of them. Like one day the headline is "Jennie has 1 million streams", and then next day it's "Jennie has 1 million and 1 streams", and the next "Jennie has 1 million and two streams. I think it would be better if the writers would wait to release these articles only every so often when a big milestone is reached. It would stir up less hate for the girls. Let's have some new and different content.
