Korean viewers are sharing more thoughts on how the 'Unanswered Questions' handled the episode on FIFTY FIFTY.
As reported, viewers are split over the SBS program's recent coverage of FIFTY FIFTY's ongoing legal dispute, especially among domestic and international audiences. On social media outlets, netizens are continuing to leave comments on what they believe to be the shortcomings of the episode, including its purported focus on the emotional aspects concerning the members and the parents of FIFTY FIFTY.
In the episode, 'Unanswered Questions' exclusively interviewed the family members of FIFTY FIFTY, who responded with words such as:
"I am flabbergasted how the things we experienced is being covered up as good deeds (by ATTRAKT). We are currently refraining from taking any action and simply waiting."
"There was a time a FIFTY FIFTY member ran out of the building due to stress. She had many panic attacks and once even woke up in the hospital with a respirator after fainting."
"[Regarding the presence of CCTVs in the company building] there were too many regulations and pressures from the company. To put it accurately, [FIFTY FIFTY members] would even rather refuse to become singers than return to that place. That is how bad it is emotionally."
In the comments section, netizens criticized the show for emphasizing too much of the emotional rhetoric rather than on an objective investigative journalism. Meanwhile, The Givers through the show complained why ATTRAKT is using explicit terms such as 'gaslighting' and 'tampering' to describe them when the issue is solely between ATTRAKT and its artists.
More reactions include:
"I don't know why they even made this episode if they were gonna focus on the people's emotional complaints"
"I think the reason the members suddenly uploaded the handwritten letters was they all knew that it was going to be used in their favor in time for this episode"
"This was worse than YouTube"
"You can die by giving a respirator to someone going through a panic attack...are these parents even telling the truth?"
"This was just all PPL for FIFTY FIFTY. The members don't even have much popularity in the country"
"I also hate how this show mentioned BTS during the episode....why....."
"It was a very biased episode"
"It was more about the emotions than fact-checking"
"The part with the members' handwritten letters and the whole emotional stirring thing just made me gasp"
What are your thoughts?
I think this episode is one to open the eyes of people that, there are no "objective investigative journalism" and media out there. News is reported in favour of whomever paid the highest amount of money. Even scientists have fallen victims to the people how can fund their next research.... so they'll report "facts" according to the will and objectives of the billionaire who's paying.
.
At the very least these parents and the members of 5050 should've been asked that, "whatever it is they feel is so bad about how Attrakt treated them, if they move to another organisation, do they think they'd have it easier over there"??
And then we'll hear their answer. Because everybody including industry experts came out to say that Attrakt gave these girls 5 🌟 treatment compared to every other company out there. Truthfully, they've had it better than every single idol in the industry, and their ungrateful asses will make them learn that the hard way.
