Former Sechskies member Ko Ji Yong responded to rumors about his health.

On August 22, Ko Ji Yong's reps responded to concerns and rumors about his health that began circulating online due to his appearance on a recent episode of the YouTube series 'This is My House'. After his appearance on the show, which was his first in years, fans and viewers were surprised by his changed face and began speculating about possible health issues.

A close aide of the former star stated,"The recent rumors of issues with his health are not true at all. I met him about 2 months ago, and there were no health problems at all. Compared to how he looked before, Ko Ji Yong lost some weight. Other than that, he was healthy without any problems at all."

According to the aide, Ko Ji Yong's weight loss is due to his focus and hard work on his business as a CEO. The former star said on 'This is My House', "I've wanted to be in business since I was young. I don't know how I became an idol singer unexpectedly. Thankfully, it went well, and I wrapped it up well," adding, "They have one thing in common. They both need luck. Even in business, no matter how hard I work and make good contracts, it can have bad results. The same is true of the entertainment industry. No matter how good I am, it's meaningless if I don't receive love from the public."

Ko Ji Yong married doctor Heo Yang Im in 2013, and they welcomed a son the following year. He and his son are also known to have made an appearance on KBS' 'Superman is Back'.
