KCON LA 2023, one of the most anticipated events in the world of K-Pop, had fans enthralled with spectacular performances.
One of the standout groups of this year's KCON was the up-and-coming boy band, RIIZE. Representing SM Entertainment, RIIZE is expected to officially debut in a couple of weeks on September 4. Yet, through KCON, they had the much-anticipated opportunity to connect with their fans in person ahead of their debut.
Among the highlights of the day, the rookie boy group impressed with their renditions of two B-side tracks titled "Siren" and "Memories." The group's performances gave fans a preview of their vocal ability and harmonious teamwork, stirring up further excitement for their upcoming debut.
Following their performances, each member was able to showcase their charms through an ending zoom-in shot, aka "ending fairy."
Korean netizens shared their adoration after viewing the photos and commented, "They look like Japanese idols, Shotaro was so pretty during 'make a wish'," "Wow, Sungchan is good looking," "Wonbin kind of looks like D.O. But what's with all their hairstyles? I wonder if they made their hairstyles look weird so they can get better over time," "I wish they would change their hairstyles. It's just taking away from their handsome faces," "Wonbin is so handsome," "Wow..." and "Daeebakk."
This was a promising start for RIIZE, stay tuned for their debut.
They're really going for that skater boi look. Nice. Better than the being in school boy look like every debut group does in the beginning I guess.
