Recently, an update on the WINNER member was seen on his 'DC Gallery'. According to the gallery, Kang Seung Yoon took on the role of MC for a ceremony for his military unit, and was then asked to perform as a surprise "special guest".
In one video, Kang Seung Yoon delivers an impromptu performance of his song "IYAH" with his fellow soldiers belching out the main part of the chorus alongside him. In another video, the soldiers chant, "Kang Seung Yoon! Kang Seung Yoon! Kang Seung Yoon!" as he stands on the stage as MC.
Meanwhile, this past weekend, Kang Seung Yoon left a message for his fans on WINNER's official fan community, writing, "This is my last weekend at the new recruit training center. I still have a long ways to go in my service, but I'm still proud to have completed my training successfully. I will fulfill my remaining duties healthy and well."
Kang Seung Yoon, who enlisted as an active duty soldier on June 20 of this year, will complete his mandatory service some time in the second half of 2024.
