Park Myung Soo showed support for T.O.P's return to the drama industry.

Park Myung Soo mentioned T.O.P during the June 30 broadcast of KBS Cool FM's 'Park Myung Soo's Radio Show.' On the radio broadcast, Park Myung Soo spoke with Jeon Min Gi, a prominent data expert, during the 'Big Data Chart Show Search N Chart' segment using various keywords.

Jeon Min Gi sparked a conversation by introducing the cast for the second season of 'Squid Game.' Park Myung Soo jokingly commented, "I thought I would be contacted (to be casted) but they didn't. I talked to them about falling out of a building a few times, but there was no feedback on it. I guess they will contact me for season 3."

Jeon Min Gi continued to share, "There was some buzz because T.O.P was on the casting list," and added, "He had to suspend activities and leave Big Bang after controversy over his mandatory military service." 

Park Myung Soo also shared, "I personally like T.O.P but I'm not sure what to say." He continued, "It's unclear on what I can say because both sides are somewhat right but still I believe young people should be given opportunities to rise again."

He then added, "This is really my own personal opinion but he should really straighten up through this opportunity because if this one chance is given to him, he should return the favor by working hard."

Meanwhile, T.O.P faced legal consequences when he received a 10-month prison sentence and a 2-year probation period for smoking marijuana on four occasions during his service as a conscripted police officer in 2017.

This incident led to the revocation of his position as a police officer, and he subsequently fulfilled his duties as a social service agent. However, rumors started circulating from his first day as a social worker, alleging issues such as tardiness, a personal interview with the mayor, and higher utilization of sick leave compared to his colleagues.
