On June 13 KST, DI Entertainment, the agency of actress Jin Ye Sol, issued a public apology following the actress' recent drunk driving incident. Earlier on June 12 KST, Jin Ye Sol was caught by the police after running into a guardrail twice while driving on Olympic Boulevard in Seoul. Her breathalyzer test showed her blood alcohol level to be at the level for license revocation.

In response to the incident, DI Entertainment released an official statement apologizing for the incident and for causing concern to the public. The agency also emphasized that there is no excuse for Jin Ye Sol's behavior.

The following is the full text of the agency's official statement. 

"Hello. This is DI Entertainment.
First of all, we would like to express our deepest apologies for causing concern with an unpleasant matter.
On June 12, Jin Ye Sol returned home after drinking at a restaurant in Seoul at 10:30 PM.
There is absolutely no excuse for Jin Ye Sol's behavior of drinking and driving, and Jin Ye Sol and her management will fully take responsibility.
We apologize to everyone and once again apologize for causing controversy.
DI Entertainment and Jin Ye Sol will find a way to deal with it quickly so that the many people involved are not harmed.
Thank you."

Jin Ye Sol also responded by posting a handwritten apology onto her personal SNS. 

"Hello, this is Jin Ye Sol. 

First, I'd like to sincerely apologize for causing concern over such unpleasant news. 

As a public figure, I should have been more responsible with all of my actions, and should have acted carefully. 

In a moment of complacency, I made a huge mistake that I never should have made. 

I apologize again to everyone who supports me. 

Going forward, I will self-reflect and practice restraint. 

I am so sorry and am ashamed. 

Once again, I bow my head and apologize.
