The Boyz's Younghoon will be making a special cameo appearance on the first episode of tvN's 'Tale of the Nine-Tailed, 1938'. 

According to tvN, Younghoon will have a special encounter with the nine-tailed fox, Lee Yeon (played by Lee Dong Wook), as the first of many of the new Eastern mythological creatures and beings who will be introduced to viewers throughout the story of 'Tale of the Nine-Tailed, 1938'. Younghoon will play the role of Dongbang Sak (also known in China as Dongfang Shuo), a human who has lived on earth for 18,000 years. 

This will mark Younghoon's return to the small-screen for the first time since SBS's 'One, The Woman', aired in 2021. 

Meanwhile, tvN's 'Tale of the Nine-Tailed, 1938', returning with its brand new season for the first time in 3 years, is scheduled to premiere tonight on May 6 at 9:20 PM KST.
