Rising actor Yang Ji Won announced his upcoming marriage to his longtime girlfriend.

On May 4 KST, Yang Ji Won shared a handwritten letter to fans revealing he'll be marrying his girlfriend of 8 years on May 20. The actor is known to have starred in movies like 'Plus Nine Romance' and 'You Are Alive in this Writing' as well as multiple musicals.

He wrote, "On May 20,  I'll be marrying the woman I love. During the past 8 years we spent together, we've had happy and painful times, but we've acknowledged each other's weaknesses and come to understand them, promising to live as husband and wife. I wanted to personally tell you this news. The person I'm marrying is a warm person who's much more kind and loving than I am. She's a loving person who loves children."

Yang Ji Won continued, "She's a precious person who was with me when I had nothing, and she's stayed by my side through all my hard times. She's still with me and prays and encourages me."
