Label Uzurocks issued an official apology to Song Ji Hyo.

Uzurocks stated in an official press release on April 24, "We acknowledge the fact that we have agreed to terminate the exclusive contract with Song Ji Hyo. We apologize for not giving enough attention to the important details required to properly support our actors in the past. This was due to our rapid expansion in the entertainment industry during the early stages of our company's growth."

The label continued, "We admit mistakes due to rapid expansion in operating various content-based business fields. We apologize for causing concern to many people who support our existing business."

Uzurocks added, "We haven't been together for a long time but we were together based on trust. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Song Ji Hyo for her dedication. It was an honor to work with Song Ji Hyo, who has been loved in various fields of the entertainment industry."

Previously, OSEN reported an interview with an official from Song Ji Hyo's side. The official said, “It is true that Song Ji Hyo gave notice of termination of the exclusive contract to Uzurocks on April 14. However, since we know that Uzurocks is taking a different stance, we plan to take all possible steps, such as lawsuits to confirm the non-existence of the exclusive contract."

Additionally, the official explained that the notice of the termination of the exclusive contract was due to the break in the artist's trust in Uzurocks in relation to the payment and settlement of employees' wages.

Earlier on April 5, it was reported that Uzurocks was facing major financial problems. According to reports, Uzurocks has let around 10 employees go due to financial difficulties, while others are allegedly leaving over worries about the agency's future. One employee claimed they had not been paid for 2 months and neither has the agency's celebrities.

Then on April 24, Uzurocks confirmed it had agreed to terminate its contract with Song Ji Hyo.
