Jimin's long-awaited and highly anticipated solo debut album 'FACE' was finally released on March 24. The pre-release track 'Set Me Free. Pt2' released on March 17, had already been performing exceptionally well and set numerous historical records on different music charts and platforms across the world [refer here for iTunes and Melon, here for Spotify, here for Oricon, and here for UK Big Top 40]. Such an explosive reception to the song further heightened the already high expectations for the album, and it indeed lived up to these expectations!

The title track 'Like Crazy' broke the records set by 'Set Me Free Pt.2' last week, becoming the biggest solo song debut by a K-pop soloist in Spotify Global Chart history. This record is applied both for filtered and unfiltered streams. Jimin now holds the Top 2 positions for the biggest solo song debut by a K-pop soloist on Spotify Global chart in history, with the third position still being a song that he featured in, VIBE by Taeyang (ft Jimin)! 

With such high streaming numbers, 'Like Crazy' became the 8th biggest song debut by a Korean act on the Spotify Global chart.

In addition, aside from setting this impressive new record on the Spotify Global chart, the same record was set on numerous country-based Spotify charts, especially those that are considered to be among the biggest music markets in the world. 

For instance, 'Like Crazy' also registered the biggest solo song debut by a K-pop Act in history on Spotify USA, UK, Chile, and many other countries. Notably, USA and UK are considered the first and third largest music markets in the world, respectively. The record in both of these countries was previously held by 'Set Me Free Pt.2', meaning that Jimin now owns the Top 2 highest solo song debut by a K-pop act on both Spotify USA and UK, and this is such a mind-blowing achievement especially since he has accomplished this with his first ever solo album!

Both of Jimin's singles, 'Set Me Free Pt.2' and 'Like Crazy' are the only songs in 2023 that have debuted straight at #1 on Spotify South Korea.

Coming to the full album, its performance on its first day of release was not any less exciting for fans.

'FACE' also broke the record for the biggest album debut by a Korean act and by a Korean soloist in 2023, both while considering the filtered and unfiltered streams! Jimin earned his biggest streaming day on Spotify with 22.4 million streams, almost double his peak on March 17 when 'Set Me Free Pt.2' was released.

All songs from the album ranked on the Spotify Global Daily chart, with the title track 'Like Crazy' ranking highest at #2, becoming one of two songs with the highest rank for any K-pop soloist to ever achieve on the chart. Jimin also became one of the only 2 Korean soloists to debut with over 6 Million streams on the chart.

Additionally, Jimin became the first and only Korean soloist to rank multiple songs within the Top 10 of the Spotify Global chart, with 'Like Crazy' at #2 and 'Set Me Free Pt.2' at #6.

Such excellent streams worldwide saw Jimin rise to #18 on the Global Spotify Daily Top Artists chart. In the country based Spotify Daily Top Artists charts, he peaked at #1 in South Korea and Pakistan, whereas in the UK, he entered the chart at #145, his first entry ever on the chart, which speaks volumes to his exceptional performance with his album.

Aside from Spotify, Jimin also set new records on iTunes, the largest global music buying platform.

'Like Crazy' achieved #1 on iTunes in 100 countries in just over 7 hours, becoming the 3rd fastest song to accomplish this feat, the only two faster songs being his other releases 'Set Me Free Pt.2' and 'With You.'

After 24 hours from the time of release, 'Like Crazy' had attained #1 in a total of 112 countries, setting the historical record for the most #1s for any song on iTunes in the first 24 hours. 

Consequently, Jimin now owns the top 3 spots for the songs with the most #1s on iTunes in the first 24 hours.

'Like Crazy' is also the only song released in 2023 to reach #1 on iTunes in that many countries in general.

Having peaked at #1 in that many countries globally, 'Like Crazy' rose to the top of the Worldwide and European iTunes Song charts, and it is still at the top of both charts as of the second day. 

In Global Digital Artist ranking, Jimin rose to 3rd place and then 2nd place, surpassing big names in music like Miley Cyrus and The Weekend, and remaining to be the top ranked Korean artist on the chart.

'Like Crazy' music video also performed well on YouTube, ranking #1 on Worldwide YouTube and #2 in the Music Category for two days, with 'Set Me Free Pt.2' retaining the top spot in the music category.

Fans are more than proud of Jimin for his historical performance on all the music platforms, especially the foreign music markets like USA and UK that are a big deal in the music industry, and they cannot wait to see more from him in his new journey as a solo artist.
