Jimin's solo debut album 'FACE' has received such an explosive, warm reception and taken over the world, posting awe-inspiring performances on various music platforms and setting new historical records on numerous major music charts. One such platform is Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform that also carries a lot of weight in determining performance rankings for song releases on all the top music charts, particularly the hot charts in the world's largest music market, the USA. This is why an excellent performance on Spotify would be something that would send any artist and his fans over the moon! 

On the day of Jimin's album's release, the title track 'Like Crazy' had already registered highly formidable results on Spotify by becoming the biggest solo song debut by a Korean soloist on several Spotify charts, including Spotify Global, USA, UK, Chile, and many other countries, while the album itself recorded the biggest solo album debut by a Korean soloist on Spotify in 2023. Jimin also became the first and only Korean soloist to debut inside the Top 10 on Spotify Global and USA chart at #2 and #6, respectively [read here]! Prior to this, the record for the biggest solo song debut on Spotify was held by the album's B-side track 'Set Me Free Pt.2', which conquered Spotify Global, USA, UK, France, Chile, and many other charts [read here]. 

The records did not stop only on the first day of the album's release but extended to the second day as well. The song rose to 5th place on Spotify USA, making Jimin the first and only K-pop soloist in history to enter the top 5 on this chart, even ranking above big household names in the US music industry like Taylor Swift.

At the same time, the song streaming numbers went up on this second day of release, setting a new record for the biggest and highest second day by a K-pop soloist on Spotify Global Daily Top Songs chart.

On the next day, which was the 3rd day of release, 'Like Crazy' posted an even better performance and rose to the top of the Spotify Global chart, making Jimin the first and only Korean soloist in history to reach #1 on the Spotify Global Daily Top Songs Chart. There are only 2 other Korean acts to reach this peak on the chart, and both are group acts. In general, 'Like Crazy' became the 4th Korean song ever to reach this peak on the chart.

This was such a huge milestone for Jimin and his first solo album, as well as for his fans and everyone involved in the creation of the album, which called for celebrations! 

Fans congratulated him and expressed their pride in him while praising his hard work, causing numerous colorful keywords like 'JIMIN ENDED KPOP' and 'HISTORY MAKER PARK JIMIN' among many others, to become trending topics on Twitter, with 'JIMIN RECORD MAKER' entering the Worldwide trends.

The track's songwriters also joined in the celebrations and expressed their excitement for this major record through posts on their Instagram accounts.

While the title track took the #1 position on Spotify global chart, 3 other songs also ranked in the top 10 at positions 5, 6, and 8.

On the Spotify Top Song Debut charts, 'Like Crazy' ranked at #1 on the USA chart and with Jimin's monthly listeners exceeding 10.1 million for the first time, which also made him one of the only 5 Korean soloists to surpass 10 million monthly listners.

Another record emerged on Spotify Thailand Daily Top Songs Chart, where Jimin recorded the biggest streams peak for any song in the history of the chart.

In other news, 'Set Me Free Pt.2' became the fastest Korean song by a Korean soloist to surpass 40 million streams on Spotify, doing so in just 9 days, whereas 'Like Crazy' became the fastest song by a Korean soloist to reach 15 million streams, doing so in just 2 days. 

Adding all these up, 'FACE' became the fastest album by a Korean soloist to surpass 60 million and 75 million streams on Spotify, which also meant that 'FACE' had now achieved the biggest first-week album debut by a Korean act on Spotify in 2023, even though it has been out for just 3 days.

Jimin created a masterpiece with 'FACE,' and it is no surprise that the songs in the album as well as the album itself, keep setting new records on every music platform. Fans are looking forward to even more records as they all agree to the high quality of the album that has them all captivated, and have no doubt that more people will love it as they discover it.
