BTS's Jimin is well-loved worldwide, especially in Japan, where his wonderful personality, skill, and talent are recognized.

On the 24th of December, during the airing of the Japanese drama "Made ni to Urusakute" (Nagging me to get married before I'm 30), there was a scene that showed three friends seated at a table in a restaurant eating while engaged in conversation. In the conversation, one character Ms. Kyoko was asked who her favorite BTS member was to which she replied with Jimin. Another character also mentioned Jimin and reiterated that she felt like she could do anything, especially when she saw him smile and when singing DNA because he always seems so cool.

On the subject of inspiration, Jimin was last year listed as Yuzuru Hanyu's inspiration for routines as a figure skater. Yuzuru is a two-time Olympic and World champion and also a four-time Grand Prix Final champion. On the 23rd of December, Yuzuru's sentiment was renewed in an interview he did on the "Sandwichman's Sports Nenichi!'s Special Christmas event when he said, "Jimin has a very flexible body and slim body line, which makes his technique even more fascinating"

It is because of Jimin's beautiful dancing that he was also recently named by Jazz musician and singer Akiko Yano who is learning ballet as an adult. She mentioned being inspired by Jimin to keep learning and not give up when facing difficulties; she even expressed her wish to see Jimin dance the famous Nutcracker performance this year instead of the Boston Ballet bear doing it. Akiko Yano is the mother of pop singer Miu Sakamoto whose daughter revealed her love for Jimin in a drawing last year.

Apart from these, Jimin also motivates countless other Japanese idols in performances, for example, K and Taki from &TEAM. Others have shown appreciation for him and his artistry, namely softball gold medalist Miu Goto, Mai Murakami Olympic medalist artistic gymnast; Personality & entertainer Kiriko Isono; Actresses Kyôko Koizumi and Reika Oozeki; Models and personalities Asami Mine and Yuki Yamamoto; Dancer and choreographer Chikada Rikimaru, Manga artists and animators like Mai Yoneyama & Aya Kanno and youngsters Miyu Kihara & Moa Niiyama among others.

On the 9th of December, Japanese Media outlet Danmee held a survey titled "My Recommendation is 5 stars! December Danmee Final survey on the Top Korean Male Entertainers" This list of nominees was retrieved from 14 Korean male entertainers who were very popular in questionnaires held in November.

Thus after two weeks, on the 23rd of the same month, Jimin emerged first on the survey. He achieved this with a total of 8,178 votes, 37% of all total votes cast. The poll was conducted under strict supervision, with one person being allowed only one vote on the site.

Indeed Jimin has topped many other surveys held on the Japanese platform. He has done the same on platforms like Netlab, where Japanese Netizens have previously selected Jimin as the best K-pop dancer, on many occasions to showcase his great popularity.
