'The Astroanut' by Jin keeps getting great reviews from music media outlets and lots of love from fans. It's already been 17 days since the release, and the song keeps breaking records. For example, it became the first music video in the world to stay #1 on Youtube Worldwide trends in the music category for 17 days in a row.
'The Astroanut' had the biggest Korean solo debut on Spotify with 5.6M streams, despite not receiving playlisting from the BTS label - UMG. Today it tied as the fastest Korean song to get 40M streams on Spotify - 16 days (tying Jungkook's "Stay Alive" which also reached this mark in 16 days). It keeps gaining over 1.7 million streams every day as fans enjoy the love letter written by the artist. The song is unusually long, but it still feels not enough because of how beautiful Jin's voice is.
