After HyunA announced that she had broken up with Dawn, various K-netizens gathered in online communities where they revisited the couple's remarks regarding marriage and breakup. Many brought to light the difference between the two idols' perspectives.
Back in September last year, HyunA and Dawn appeared on 'Turkids On The Block' and shared that the promise not to delete photos from Instagram still stands when asked if it is still valid. At that time, Dawn answered, "I thought about it but I think I can leave them up. I can just make another account." He then added, "If I break up with HyunA, I won't love anymore," and touched HyunA's feelings.
In July, Dawn also appeared on MBC's talk show 'Radio Star' and revealed that he had thoughts about getting married to HyunA. He shared, "I think I should get married to HyunA."
At the time, Dawn explained he had proposed to HyunA and shared, "We both are thinking we should get married to each other. We haven't decided on the date but we can get married next week if we wanted to."

Meanwhile, HyunA and Dawn began dating in 2016 and recently announced that they had broken up, bringing shock to fans. HyunA revealed that the two decided to remain as good friends.

I don't want to sound mean and I know I will get downvoted but idc, they were bad for each other. Not in the way of happiness but more on their styles. They were starting to look like clowns. Dawn's make up was used for hyuna as well, making them both look drug addicted. They also expressed their love openly everywhere they went. Their relationship has been talked about more than their music. Hyuna lost her touch for music after leaving cube/dating dawn. Dawn lost his group and now also his gf and agency so he basically has nothing now. They were so blindly in love and didn't hide anything. Which is why most idols keep their rs to themselves cuz it's healthier. If a public couple do break up, everyone knows.
